Curb Appeal When Selling Your Home

Selling

There is an old saying: You never get a second chance to make a first impression. The same holds true when your home is for sale, so make sure that the first look potential home buyers get leaves a lasting impact. Play up curb appeal of your home with these tips and roll out the welcome mat for compliments and inquiries about your home.

Tips To Enhance Your Home's Curb Appeal

•  Power wash the exterior of your home. If you have any loose or peeling  paint, you may need to hire painters
•  Power wash your outside of your windows, then clean them thoroughly on the inside. Remove debris and cobwebs — these will make windows look dull, and you want them to shine!
•  Fix loose roof shingles
•  Clean gutters and replace them if they’re rusty, bent or look old
•  Rake your leaves and tidy up flower beds
•  Keep your lawn mowed and looking its best throughout the sale process
•  Remove weeds, dandelions and grass growing up through sidewalks
